In this roleplay, there is a system for having conversations in-character. It's quite simple.
-To be talking to someone you must be facing them and close to them.
-The farther you are away from someone, the louder you must talk for their character to hear you.
-No in-character chatting in a posse ever.
-If you are sitting in the saloon in Armadillo and people are having a normal conversation in the Sheriff's Office, you can hear them but your character cannot.
-If someone is whispering, you can only hear them if you are very close to them.
-If you want to be yelling at a character, actually yell at them.
-talking in character dose not necessarily mean you have to adopt his accent
-You can send another character a telegram by way of a PM. To do so, enter a place with a telegraph (most businesses own one) and send a PM to the person you with to send them to. Try and be creative with this, and send a telegram like they did in the old days.
